How to pass FMG exam?

Hello friends, first of all i would congratulate all of you who had graduated medicine from abroad, and best wishes for those who are yet to graduate.
I have created this blog to give some tips and advise for those preparing Fmge.
I graduated from Bicol Christian college of medicine,Philippines june 2019 batch. I planned to appear for december 2019 fmg exam.
Friends nothing is easy, this exam is one of the difficult exams in india, so minimum 3 to 6 mnths preparation is must.
With God's grace and little hard work I passed the exam, and scored 174.
Just keep in mind 150 is enough to pass 😁. No negative marks this is our plus point.
Tips:
1. Make sure you are determined and keep in mind this will be last attempt.
2 prepare yourself for studying minimum of 8 to 10 hours a day.
3 keep away from social medias. If u want to relax listen to motivational videos and listen to motivational songs. Say no to movies and Series 😂
4. Lets talk about subjects and how many u like to prepare. For clearing Fmge joining coaching class is a better idea. I joined MIST delhi. Which i would say is the drug of choice for Fmg. Regarding fees Mist is quite expensive compared to other institues like AFmg and Diams which are also good.. If some are concerned abt money they can study from Apps like Marrow and Prepladder which cost nearly 35k.
My strategy was minimum i prepared 16 subjects out of 19 subjects. I followed it. And i dropped subjects like Medicine, psychiatry and Ortho.
So might think me stupid, because i have dropped medicine. Just keep in mind guys u have to score 150 for 300 , medicine is just 30 question. So dont waste time in sea of medicine. U can prepare medicine while preparing for Pg.
5 . if u have joined coaching classes then its good. Study daily portions before going to sleep. U might forget after 2 days. Thats human nature dont worry abt it so keep on running be motivated.
6 regarding sleep 5 hours of sleep is more enough. If are motivated enough 5 hrs of sleep will be helpfull and u will be fresh next day.
7 There will regular xams in ur institute. Dont miss any exams. Keep on improvising ur scores.
Try to finish all ur portions before 45 days of ur exam.
8. once u have finished with ur classes u are free to prepare and have plenty of time. Lets say u can easily prepare abt 13 to 14 hrs a day.
9. Most of us cannot sit for long hours. So u can study for 1 hrs with deep concentration and take a break for 15 mins. After 3 to 4 sessions . take a long break. Never use ur phone during ur breaks it will kill ur time and distract u from concentrating.
10. how many times u should revise? My answer would be 3 times is enough. Every time u prepare for ur weekly exams kept in ur institute that will be ur first reading. After the exam mark ur errors in notes and highlight it so u wont make the same error next time. During ur last 45 days split it as  25+15+5.
First 25 days: this will be your second revision. Lets say if ur starting ur day by 5am start with a harder subject, then close it by 6 pm . After 6pm take a minor or easier subject untill u go to sleep. This have helped me a lot while preparing. So that u wont be hanging with a harder subject. For example within 3 to 4 days u can finish 1 major sub and 2 to 3 minor subjects. Keep a goal that ur second revison is done in those 25 days. In the mean time solve as many as mcqs u can. If u are in a coaching institute there will be long exam for each subject. Plan ur second revision according to the exam schedule, u will be extra focused.
Second 15 days: This will be ur third revison. Plan it according to ur insititues MOCK exam ( full exam). dont miss any full exam. This will give u an idea which are ur weak areas and stronger areas. I know these are crucial. Stay motivated guys. HARD WORK REALLY PAYS OFF. For now u are ready for the battle. Say it in ur mind that u will do good in the exam.
Last 5 days: its ur volatile revisons. Dont study anything new turn pages in ur notes start memorising those points which are to be memorised like microbiology , cancer stages, drug of choices, etc .. Make sure guys there is 5% of image based Mcqs. So u must be good in Radio, surgery, ophtha, Patho, micro and PSM.

This tips are for those who are average students like me. If u area  bright one u might have a better plan this. Hope this will help you.
SINCERE HARD WORK WILL BE ALWAYS APPRECIATED BY GOD.
Best wishes for all those out there preparing.
Thank you
